For centuries, cultures around the world have utilized Wet Cupping (often known as Hijama) as a powerful method to detoxify the body and reset the immune system. While Dry Cupping addresses muscle tension, Wet Cupping goes a step further to remove harmful toxins and stagnant blood directly from the body.
This is a specialized therapy that blends physical intervention with deep, energetic cleansing.
Because Wet Cupping involves drawing small amounts of blood, safety and hygiene are paramount. At Soulistic Healing, your session is conducted by a licensed medical professional. We utilize sterile, single-use instruments and clinical-grade sanitation protocols, ensuring that your experience is safe, clean, and medically sound.
The process is a two-step cycle:
Suction: Cups are applied (similar to Dry Cupping) to draw stagnant blood and fluids to the surface of the skin.
Release: The cups are removed, and tiny, superficial scratches are made on the skin. The cups are reapplied to gently draw out a small amount of toxic blood.
In holistic medicine, pain and illness often stem from stagnation—blood that is not flowing or filtering correctly. By removing this “bad blood,” we reduce inflammation and allow the body to produce fresh, healthy blood cells.
Pain Management: Highly effective for migraines, joint pain, and chronic inflammation.
Detoxification: physically removes metabolic waste and toxins.
Immune Boost: Stimulates the lymphatic system and triggers a healing response.
Holistic Balance: Traditionally believed to restore balance to the body’s humors and energy channels.
Most patients report very little discomfort. The incisions are shallow—similar to a scratch—and the relief felt afterward often outweighs the momentary sensation. We will guide you through every breath, ensuring you feel safe and supported.
